Special Events are an important part of the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. They allow us to raise vital funding for our programs and raise awareness about child abuse, abandonment, and neglect in the upstate.

Kappa Delta Shamrock Fun Run - Saturday, March 13th at Duncan Park
Join the sisters of Kappa Delta from Wofford College as they host the first Shamrock Fun Run to benefit the Children Shelter of the Upstate. Please contact Stacy Settle at 583-7688 ext. 1-25 for sponsorship opportunities!

Founder's Day Brunch at the Children Shelter. Drop In from 10am - 12-pm. Please join us as we celebrate our Founder's and kick off April as Prevent Child Abuse Month.
Benefit hosted by Something for the Soul Ministries. Featured Artist gospel singer Crystal Aikin (Winner of BETs Sunday Best 2007 & 2010 Stellar Award Winner for New Artist of the Year). Chapman Cultural Center, tickets $10 prior to March 10, $20 after and at the door. For more information please call 864-266-8963. April 17, 2010 Pancake Breakfast hosted by Fatz Cafe at Waccamaw
7:30am - 10:30am Pancake breakfast at Fatz Cafe, located at exit 17 off I-26. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the Shelter or on-line.
