Special Events

Special Events are an important part of the Children Shelter of the Upstate, Inc. They allow us to raise vital funding for our programs and raise awareness about child abuse, abandonment, and neglect in the upstate.

We want to thank Fatz Cafe for sponsoring a Pancake Breakfast for us in April.  It was very successful and fun was had by all.

A special thanks goes out to the Kappa Delta's (KD's) at Wofford College who sponsored the first Annual Shamrock & Run to benefit the Shelter.  They raised over $10,000 for us.  Way to go girls!!  Anchor House hosted a dinner & a movie night with the KDs to express our appreciation.

AFL Technologies employees came out and volunteered at the Shelter by painting in Anchor House and making a $3000 donation.  Fun was had by all, check out these great painters!

Home Depot employees have been very active here at the Shelter.  They have hosted parties, sponsored work days and even donated through their company.  We thank everyone at Home Depot.

The Bouncy Houses that Home Depot brought to the Shelter for a Fun Day!
