Anchor House

Due to the needs of the community in 2001, Children Shelter of the Upstate started a long term, low management program for teen girls age 12-18, for whom foster care was not an option, called Anchor House.  This program aids in transitioning these young women into caring for themselves and starting their own lives as they become adults and productive members of society.  Anchor House residents can stay in the program until age 21 provided they are attending college.
