About Our New Logo

Four children in the shape of hearts to represent the Children's Shelters love and dedication to them.  The different shades of blue represent the different cultures and backgrounds that our children come from however; they are all united through the Children's Shelter.

Our Promise

In 1978, the community of Spartanburg responded to the needs of abused, abandoned and neglected children by establishing the Spartanburg Children Shelter.  Since then the Shelter has been a temporary home to thousands of children.  Children arrive at the Shelter anytime of the day or night 365 days a year.  When they arrive at the Shelter they are often hungry, dirty, sick, and have been traumatized.  Our staff makes sure the children get something nutritious to eat, a warm shower, fresh clothing, personal items, snuggly beds, and most importantly they are showered with the love they deserve.  Even though our name has changed we remain committed to our mission - this is our PROMISE!
